Notes:  RB Larry Johnson, TE Tony Gonzalez, QB Damon Huard and WR Eddie Kennison all had outstanding days for Kansas City (4-3), which went over .500 for the first time all year. The Chiefs had 499 total yards to 240 for Seattle, and 42 minutes, 15 seconds of possession time compared with Seattle's 17:45.

Gonzalez, the Chiefs' Pro Bowl tight end, caught six passes for 116 yards and Kennison had six receptions for 132. Huard, who has played well in place of the injured Trent Green, was 17 for 25 for 312 yards and one TD.

But outrageous mistakes let the Seahawks (4-3) score two unanswered touchdowns and grab a 28-27 lead with about six minutes left.

Johnson had the biggest hand in preventing the Chiefs' self destruction, rushing 39 times (a new club record) for 155 yards and scoring four touchdowns, three on the ground. He got the go-ahead score with 2:15 to play with a 3-yard run after Huard connected with Kennison on a 51-yard pass play.

Johnson also posted his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season, placing him third in the NFL with 644 rushing yards and eight TDs. The Penn State alum leads the NFL with 973 total yards from scrimmage and ranks second among non-kickers with 60 total points.
