Notes: Kansas City comes out
early with a TD in the first minute and never lets off the gas. Seattle
strikes back with a touchdown pass to Steve Largent, but the tie is the best
they can manage for the rest of the game.
Kansas City’s running backs take turns
punching through Seattle’s
line, with Palmer, Heard, and the rookie Christian Okoye all getting some
carries. Palmer returns a punt 92 yards
for a touchdown, echoing the runback he had in week 1. Steve Largent passes the great Charlie Joiner
for first place on the all-time receptions list. This loss, coupled with a Houston win, puts the Seahawks on the road
for the playoffs while the Chiefs start their off-season on a high note.
This is the first game ever with a female play-by-play
announcer.
Thanks Steven!
