Notes:  This loss marks the end of a streak that began in the Marty Schottenheimer era.  The Chiefs had won their last December home game for the previous 10 seasons, but they can’t get it done against the Titans and another KC standard falls.

 

Herm Edwards’ path of destruction is not complete, however, as Tony Gonzalez is chosen for his ninth straight Pro Bowl and Jared Allen is selected for his first in the week following the Chiefs’ 7^th straight loss.

 

It was a cold game to close out a cold season at the once-great Arrowhead stadium.
