1. Must know where ALL the murals are in town

2. Worked in a food booth at the Flower Festival at least once

3. Drive 30-45 min to work each way because you don't want to say, "Would you like Fries with that?"

4. Laugh out loud when you hear people not from there say, "Well, I have been through there once..." (we are off the beaten path, so u don't just go THROUGH it!)

5. You know all of Lompoc's nicknames - Lompton, Lompuke, LPC, The Poke

6. You correct everyone who mispronounces Lompoc

7. Going "out of town" means going to Santa Maria which is 30 miles away

8. Can point out exactly when Kmart came in and when it left due to Wal-Mart coming in years later.

9. You can talk all the smack about Lompoc, but you'll kick anyone's ass for baggin on it.

10. You learned how to drive a stick shift on the farm roads

11. You know not to pick up hitch hikers as Lompoc is home to a Federal Penetentiary (and u laugh at the signs they put up when one escapes)

12. Going across town takes 5 minutes or less

13. You will see at least ONE person or more that you know when you go to Wal-Mart

14. You know just how lame the town of Solvang is ('cept for the beer gardens)

15. A night out at the bar in Carrow's is big time!

16. You know of at least one person who has gotten into a bar fight at the Red Fox II.

17. Most everyone that has moved away cuz it sucks, ends up back here (even if just for a short interim period)

18. You move away and come back and exclaim, "My how this town has grown!"

19. You damn near have a party every time a new store or restuarant opens - and then take bets on how long it will last!

20. You joke about the 4th of July fireworks not being seen thru the fog

21. You know the difference between an earthquake and a missile going off from the Air Force Base

22. You freak out when Lompoc is mentioned in a movie and then get pissed cuz it is ALWAYS mispronounced!

23. You celebrate when the wind isn't up and you can have a picnic without weighing everything down with rocks

24. You laugh at those who live in Santa Barbara and pay high rent when they can have weather just as shitty as us!

25. You know what a Snowy Plover is!
