The Diary of a Young Girl
by Anne Frank

Very touching. Anne was very sensitive to the world. She thought hard, questioned and drew her own conclusion. She was probably much more mature intellectually than many adults. Despite our obvious differences in many respects, she seemed so close to me when I read her dairy. I truly wished she had been my friend. The fact that she had so many questions and that she put all her thoughts and feelings in her diary, which she treated as her bosom friend, was a reflection of me in my adolescence and perhaps even now.

(This short review was written over five years ago for my first website. This book is one of my dearest and I will add quotations later. )
