A very odd Phantom indeed. Trapped beneath a third-rate cabaret, he must endure the singers. Apparently, he is rather resentful, as he start to pick off the female singers. It would turn out to be a perfect film, if Santo didn’t turn up to help.
When he does, the Strangler’s plans go awry. His kill rate drops, and insult of insults, he has to endure Santo’s bratty sidekick prancing about the stage. Worst of all, he is interrupted mid-kill of the cabaret’s snotty and untalented prima donna.
At least he seems to die at his own hand. Plunging off the catwalk to his doom instead of being captured. Of course good Phantoms aren’t dead forever, and he will be back soon to reign, well, subsist in the cabaret once more.
