Relief? Well, Then came a family in December of '94, when he was thirteen. They adopted him into their small home, and he made friends with the son of the woman who had adopted him, Phil, right off the bat. He would stay with this family longer than any before, because he actually liked them. He still had his problems though, and caused trouble just like in the past. Phil's mom eventually couldn't handle him as the families before her, and gave him up. Phil and Adam hated this conclusion to their friendship, because they had become very close. They had even become big fans of Wrestling and had vowed to both team up when they became wrestlers, and rule all! Well, some dream huh? Looks like that won't be happening now, right?

Adam didn't like this, he felt like crying, but he was 'tough', and didn't like showing his feelings. The result, he bottled it all up inside, and thus, every time he was pissed off, more and more rage came out each time onto the victims. His actions landed him in Juveline Detention until he was 18. He wanted to do something better for his life this time around though, and remembered how he and Phil used to dream o fbecoming Pro Wrestlers. Payne began lifting weights and eating right, as well as staying away from the drugs, which was even harder to let go of. He ot himself a steady job to pay a personal trainer, and finally made it into a wrestling company in March of 2003. The company was Core Wrestling. On the 20th of that month, he became the first ever Icon Champion, but unfortunately was forced to vacate that title on the third of April when a Judge found him guilty of murder. Adam had had a confrontation with an angry fan one nig who didn't like Payne on bit, and Adam LOST it..no really, he went all out, worse than ever before. The downfall continues...and his story has just begun..

Phil, now a Pro Wrestler and better known as "PKA", along with his girlfrieend Ash set out to find Adam.PKA had wanted to reunite with him ever since he left that May afternoon because of his bad actions. They got a tip from someone that he had been put in jail for murder, and PKA found him, and visited him. PKA knew someone, an old friend of the family, that could help get Payne out. What PKA didn't know, is that this Lieutenant of the squad, was a rogue Detective, a sort of "Crime boss", but that didn't really concern PKA, he just wanted to get his friend, or brother, Adam Payne, out of Jail. Make a long story short, he did, but how?

The date was April 4, 2003. The time was 7:43 pm, Adam Payne had just successfully defended his Core Wrestling Icon Championship. After the show he is taken away by the two detectives, while a woman stands by screaming at Payne for something or another...its pretty bad by the way she sounds.

Change scenes, to April 6 at 8AM. The scene is a courtroom, and the Judge sentences Payne to life in Jail for ...you guessed it.. murder!

Change scenes again, to PKA getting ran down in April, 2003 by a Dodge Ram. He jumps out of the way as quick as he can, but the impact was still made as he suffered a broken ankle. We see a clip of him going into the Doctor's office 6 weeks later, after it should've been healed completely, but there was still a peircing pain that would not go away. The doctor decided that its best to rebrake, and refuse the ankle, as it fused together improperly. They did that, and PKA waited, and waited, for it to heal up again!

How did PKA and Ash get Adam Payne out of jail? Lieutenant Scott Smith had problems with a dealer of his, someone who messed up a drug deal that was VERY important..and he thought up of a way to punish him..solution? Toss his ass in Payne's place! Its simple really, plant a little evidence that points to the guy as the murderer, present it to the judge, and get a jury to find that it wasn't really Payne who committed that crime, noooo, it was the other guy! Well, too bad for him, because it worked, and Payne was set free! PKA, Ash, and Adam Payne know nothing about how Adam was released, but they're just happy about it now! Smith told them that they would have to repay him with the money they earn in competing for nWo. PKA helped train Payne to finally get his wrestling ability to top notch, and when they were ready, they said 'Let's go'. PKA had Payne meet with President Ichabod, and the deal was signed...
