Gibbon's Map Turtle - Graptemys gibbonsi

This species was formerly recognized as the Alabama Map Turtle, Graptemys pulchra, and is still considered so by some authors. It can reach up to 30 cm. It is found in the Pascagoula and Pearl river drainages of Louisianna. This specimen died in captivity.
