Wood Turtle - Clemmys insculpta

This turtle can reach a length of 23 cm. It occurs in the Northeastern portion of North Ameria. This is a terrestrial species. This turtle has a distinctive carapace with pyramids on each of its scutes. This specimen died in captivity.
