A theory I have perhaps?

Is Kazu’s father REALLY Kazu’s father?

We look at the images we see (which are from take from the manga, quite crummy indeed) and study his appearance (his looks). Certainly we can’t go by personality entirely. One can easily adapt to gaining the trains around them, especially if they were raised by someone since childhood.

Well, looking at this. I must say he is perhaps a very cool man! Yes, he sort of reminds me of some sort of gangster (commonly the Black and Hispanic kind, if you wish to stereo-type). For one, I really dig that he has these really awesome earrings in his ears! His personality (though he had a brief appearance) is something to be admired! He’s typically a good role-model in my opinion; despite how he dresses (some prejudice people wouldn’t accept it). He’s also a pretty odd man. You can just get that feeling off of him when you read what he says and see how he acts.

But is he his father?

Perhaps he could very well be, since down the line, heretics do go down the blood-line.

However, not that I am questioning the fact that he could very well be part of the “Kuwabara” family…

But does his father really look like him? Maybe a little, if you look at it in a certain way.

And obviously, this man’s wife must look like Shizuru no doubt.

But I raise the question again… Is this man really Kazuma’s father?

If you look at the man closely, you can see why I sort of doubt this man genuinely is.

One...

Look at the forehead; it’s not at all like Kazuma’s. Kazu has a shorter forehead, thanks to his window’s peak. This man obviously lacks in having a widows peak.

Two…

The nose; though it’s similar to Kuwa’s in a way… Look at the nose more closely and you can see that Kuwabara has much more pointier nose, in fact, the point/tip sticks more upward.

Three…

Hair. Kazu-kun has natural curly/wavy hair. It’s his gel he eyes to help keep it up like that as well as nice and smooth around the sides. This man obviously has straight hair. Could Kazu get his curly ginger (fiery orange) hair from his mom? Then again, we perhaps will never know, since she never makes an appearance. But, if his mom does have Shizuru’s hair…then where does that leave Kuwa? This man obviously must have dark brown hair or black (salt and pepper look).

Four…

Ears. Kazu’s ears stick out more than this man’s. This man’s ears is closer to his head.

Five…

And finally his face. Kazuma has more of a longer face than this man’s. Notice how this man has a short face, how it’s much pudgier, and not to mention the lack of having high and visible cheekbones?

There’s no doubt that he certainly could be Shizuru’s father. I see some of her personality in him, though like Shizuru has, he has also had major influences on Kuwabara’s life.

 

Now, here’s the thing.

Either Kuwabara was adopted (possibly even Shizuru, too) either from another family or orphanage, or perhaps taken in by them from another that was part of their family. It would definitely explain why Kuwabara’s “Dad” is so open and willing to accept Yukina as part of their family (living with them). This boy could be very well adopted, whether he knows it or not.

Another option is that maybe Kuwabara had another father or another mother. This man could have had several relationships. In the manga, we only see dear daddy here. Not the mom. Kuwabara’s mother could, in fact, be another woman than Shizuru’s.

Another option is that maybe perhaps Kuwabara’s mom had another outside relationship with someone (even if it was somehow a one night stand). How do we know? We don’t ever see her. We don’t even know what she’s like! It further raises questions about who the hell Kuwabara’s father is (not to mention actual parents, though it’s not who you are related to, it’s who raised and took care of you that matters most).

And the last option we have here is that perhaps his mom had been the one who married several times, making this guy more like a step-dad to both of these kids. I really don’t think this one is the one. Why? I say this because this man seems to know a lot for someone who was never involved in their business, too much, in fact, to be considered a man whom his mother happened to marry to. Perhaps he is psychic, like Shizuru. Yes, we could say Kuwabara gets it from this man, but that doesn’t prove anything, really. Whoever he is, he seems to be like Shizuru, calm as cucumber, not to mention possess that push that Shizuru has when she tries to get her brother to do something. Makes you wonder where Kuwabara gets most of his personality from (though influences in life are still a major factor in this). For one, I am glad this man is in his life, whether genuine biological father figure or not. This man is a good man! And a funny weird one, too; his sense of humor must of rubbed off on Kazu-kun . This guy is also very good natured.

(In my opinion, Kazuma seems angrier, quick-tempered, rash, more spaztastic than this man, not to mention more serious and sometimes broody… Even if Kuwabara has a heart of gold or behaves silly, he still has a different personality than this man. I am just happy that he has someone as good as this guy to have a major impact upon his life, regardless if he’s related or not. And even IF or when Kuwabara ages, I seriously doubt he’d look like this guy.)

So, is this man actually Kuwabara’s REAL father…?
