“Nicccckkkkk…wake up!” AJ cried into Nick’s ear

“AJ! I was trying to sleep!” Nick cried.

“Nick…we have a tech rehearsal today! Up and at ‘em!” Brian cried.

“What…? I don’t wanna!” Nick whined

“Argh…” AJ muttered. He walked around Nick’s room and observed the framed photos. Some of his family. Some of the Backstreet Boys. Some of his dogs. He picked up one of the photos. It was of Rachel. She was smiling and Nick had put bunny ears on her

“I like this one,” AJ said taking it down. Nick glanced at it,

“Where did you find that?” he asked

“On your dresser stupid…where it always was,” AJ mumbled.

Nick grabbed the framed photo and shoved it under his bed.

“Nick…god…what’s up with you? I thought you LOVED her,” Brian said. Nick half glared at Brian. This was after all, the person that was involved in why Nick and Rachel broke up.

Nick got up. “Let’s go,” he said putting on a fake smile “We have rehearsing to do,” he said. Howie shook his head and jabbed Brian “It’s obvious he still loves her,” he said. Brian nodded.

“He’ll come through,” Brian said. Howie nodded.

~*5 Hours Later:*~

“We’re DONE!” AJ cried triumphantly as they went through their last song

“Ok guys…now…two more songs,” Brian said.

“WHAT?” Nick cried

“C’mon…we need to prepare, it’s just voice exercise.” Brian insisted.

“All right, which song?” Kevin asked

“Anywhere for you….and….” Brian chewed on his pen “I’ll never break your heart,” He told Tommy who prepared the music. They began

Nick sang. Memories of Rachel and him flashed in his mind. When she went up onstage with him. I promised not to break your heart Rachel…but I went against it anyway didn’t I? He thought. He dropped his mic and ran backstage. The rest of the guys stared at him in awe. They could hear crying.
