Once Again

Brian walked down the halls of his old high school in Kentucky. He heard music in the auditorium, but thought nothing of it. He followed the music backstage. He walked around the auditorium and sat in the back row. A quintet of guys worked up on the stage. They sang their hearts out and danced as well. Brian recognized one of the boys from his basketball team. Jordan, was a younger version of Brian. He was a little taller, but he had the same piercing blue eyes. Brian wasn't only Jordan's basketball coach, he was his father.

Leigh-Ann and Brian got married after dating for three years. She made him choose between the Boys and her. He chose her because he didn't want to lose the girl he thought he loved. Shortly after they were married, Leigh-Ann was pregnant. When Jordan Littrell one year and three months when Brian caught Leigh-Ann shaking the baby. Hard. He divorced her quietly and the doctors gave Jordan very little chance of surviving after an episode like that at such a young age. The next thing Brian knew, Jodan was ten and needed heart surgery. It was passed from Brian. The doctors once again said that the boy had little chance of surviving, and if he did, he would be confined to a wheelchair. Brian didn't give up but he gave Jordan's life to God, just like his mother did with him. And Jordan got better.

Brian was brought back to earth when the school phone rang. He heard Jordan answer it and practically scream with joy. "We made it!" he yelped. Jordan was talking about his group. The group consisted of himself, Alex and Scott (Kevin's kids), Matt (Jordans' best friend), and Chris (another kid from school). Brian smiled. He had given up his music career for the biggest mistake of his life, and had been happy. The other BSB's weren't so happy afterwards. Airboy ODed. Howie was shot. Brian remembered that they had always said that AJ was the one who brought the group together. But it was Howie all along and they didn't realize it until it was too late. AJ got so angry at everyone that he left the country. Last Brian heard, he was living in Northern Europe. Kev was married with five kids. Three girls and the two boys. The girls were very troubled and one was in boarding school because Lisa (Kev's wife) and himself couldn't handle her. They weren't as happy as they seemed.

Now Brian, who had made the so-called-biggest-mistake-of-his-life, was the happiest. Sure, he missed touring and performing, but there was Jordan. And he decided that if he had to relive all the pain and the heartache, just to have him, he would. The Littrells were going back into music once again. And this time, it was going to last. Brian was sure of that.
