Jil Lindenberg

Jil was born into the arts, her father was a singer and her mother was a dancer and choreographer, giving her a solid foundation. Her vocal study began at the Felix Medelsohn Barholdy University of Music in Leipsig and finished in 1991 at the University of Music in Berlin. Directly afterwards the mezzo-soprano performed at the National Theater in Schwerin. In the summer of 1991 she sang in the finals of the Belvedere Competition in Vienna. Among her extensive musical repertoire includes roles in "Carmen" and "Caberet." She has performed as Madame Giry as well as other roles in Hamburg's production of Phantom.
