Felicitas Morawitz Felicitas Morawitz was born in Gmunden, in Upper Austria, and grew up in Vienna. She studied ballet at the Vienna State Opera with Willy Fränzl, took singing lessons with Irmgard Seefried and graduated with honors as opera singer from the, Academy for Music and the Performing Arts, the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, in Vienna. In addition she studied acting at the prestigious Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna with Susi Nicoletti. She has appeared in various operas, operettas, musicals, and concerts in several different countries, including the USA, Israel, Germany, Denmark, Austria, and Spain.
