Veronica Murua Veronica received a degree in singing at the Manhattan School of Music and a masters in opera in the University of Illinois. She won first place in the Concurso Francisco Araiza in 1991 and also placed third in the Concurso de Canto Carlo Morelli in 1992. She has also appeared as Sophie in 'Master Class.'
