Chapter 3

Madison groaned inwardly as Jamie, Kevin's latest flame, giggled almost uncontrollably at something Kevin had said. "Okay..Kev may be funny..but not that funny..," She muttered.

Nick, who was sitting beside her, laughed and then tried to cover it up by laughing. Madison punched him in his arm, "Thanks Nick."

"Well..it was funny!"

She shoved him playfully and he almost fell off the couch. "Gosh, for their manager, you sure do act immature..and a little TOO friendly.," Jamie said glaring at her.

Madison helped Nick back onto the couch before answering the bouncy blonde. "Well, I believe that when I'm going to be on tour with a group or someone for a long time, I believe we should be friends and be comfortable around one another. Luckily, these guys are like that so I have no problem acting like their friend. When its business time, I'm their manager, when its play time, I act like their friend."

"Very good answer.," Brian said smiling at her.

"Why thank you Brian."

The next day, Madison was at the airport waiting to see her friend, Tricia, who was coming to visit. Finally, people began filing out of the terminal. She looked over people's heads to see Tricia's dark auburn hair, and soon she could see..and hear her. "OH MY LORD!! MADISON!!"

The two women squealed like teeny-boppers (*lol*) and hugged, but not before receiving some condescending looks from people passing them. Madison pulled back first, "Oh look at you! Your hair is normal!"

Tricia laughed, "For once! You caught me in between dye jobs!"

Madison laughed and hooked her arm through Tricia's. "Come on girl, the limo's waiting outside to take us to the venue."

"Limo? Damn girl.."

Madison grinned, "They wouldn't let me take the van..they came too."

"You're joking??!"

"Nope..there's the baggage claim."

They stood at the spinning carousel for a moment before Tricia's bags appeared. They both grabbed them and Madison led her towards the waiting limo.

The driver, Will, opened the door and Madison climbed in first, followed by Tricia. Tricia wasn't usually a shy person, but meeting the Backstreet Boys again(she had met them once before) brought out severe shyness in her. "Hi guys.," She said almost softly.

They all greeted her as the limo pulled away. "So..whats the game plan?," Tricia asked looking at her blonde friend.

"Well..we're dropping these five off at the venue, I have to run in and check with Michael and make sure he can handle things. Then, me and you are going back to the hotel so we can get you settled in. Then, we have oh probably three hours before the concert."

"Sounds good Ms. Timeclock.," She said.

"What can I say? I have to be, if I wasn't so time oriented, these guys would be late for everything."

"Hey!," All five said in unison.

The two women exchanged a glance before laughing.

"Damn Madi, when did Kevin get so fine??," Tricia asked as the two walked through a local mall later that afternoon.

Madison shrugged, "I dunno..I..never really noticed.."

"HA! Yea right!"

Madison laughed, "I'm serious! I see him as Kevin, as Train, as the guy with a dislocated shoulder because he wouldn't listen to anyone before going snowboarding."

"He's still fine."

"He has a girlfriend."

"And? That means NOTHING."

"For you maybe."

Tricia grinned, "Uh huh."

Madison rolled her eyes playfully, "Anyways.."

"So..we goin' clubbing tonight?"

She shrugged as they looked through sales racks at another store. "I guess me and you can go. And Marcus and Q will probably wanna go if the guys don't."

"Marcus and Q?"

"Bodyguards. They're real cool."

"Oh, okay..what about Michael?"

"Michael? Clubbing? That doesn't sound right. Michael's cool and all but he won't go clubbing."

"Oh..well..okay.."

"Oh, this is cute..this would look awesome on you.," Madison said holding up a top."

"Ohh yeah..I may get it."

"Okay."

Later that night, after the concert had ended, Tricia and Madison were in their hotel room getting ready to go out. As far as they knew, they were the only two going out that night. Madison looked in the mirror and adjusted her tube top..again. "Trish..I don't have the chest for this..I look like a dork."

"No you don't! Girl, you got the body so flaunt it! Geez..it looks fine, now get on your jacket and let's go!"

"Okay..geez.."

They left the hotel room and walked down towards the elevator.

Once outside in the street, they waited for a cab to come. "HEY MADISON!!!," A voice yelled from up above.

Madison looked up and saw AJ leaning out the balcony. "WHAT???"

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING???"

"CLUBBING!"

"COOL! CAN WE COME???"

"IF YOU WANT! Meet us at the one on 42nd Street, can't miss it!"

"Okay! See ya later!!!"

"SEE YA!"

The girls laughed as AJ waved and disappeared from sight. They caught a cab and got in, ready for a night on the town.
