Chapter 5

Madison rubbed the back of her neck as she read over the guys' latest schedule changes. AJ wandered over and took the chair next to her. "You feelin' okay J?," She asked looking over the rim of her reading glasses.

He nodded, "Yea..just kinda tired."

"Oh..so, no hangover?"

"Nope..thank God."

She smiled, "Thats good.."

"So..what are you looking at?"

"A bunch of changes you all gotta endure."

He groaned, "What now?"

She sighed, "Well..a concert was canceled in Oklahoma, the arena caught fire. Umm..two tv appearances are postponed and/or canceled. And..Michael is going back to LA tomorrow to have some meetings with the Firm and other stuff."

"Ohh..its not too bad.."

"Not really..I am really not feeling good right now, I'm tired, and I don't know if I can do this by myself for two weeks."

"Whats wrong?," He asked taking off his sunglasses.

She sighed and set the pack of papers in front of her, "I just don't feel good.."

"So go take a nap. Where's Tricia at anyways?"

"At the hotel pool."

"Ohh.."

Madison slid her glasses off her face and sighed again, "I'm gonna head upstairs..tell Michael to call me if he needs anything."

"Will do."

"See ya AJ."

Madison walked to the elevator and pressed the button for 'up'. "Madison?"

"Oh hey Kev.," She said looking behind her.

"Whats wrong?"

"I'm not feeling good right now..I was gonna go up and lay down for a few."

"Ohh..I'll head up with you."

The doors slid open and they stepped inside. "Where's Jamie?"

Kevin groaned and rolled her eyes, "She's convinced I don't love her so she left to go home."

"Oh..I'm sorry."

"Don't be.."

"I thought you and her were serious?"

He shook his head, "So did I..she's just so freaken possessive and demanding."

"I guess.."

"You really don't feel good, do you?"

She shook her head, "No."

He put a hand on her forehead and frowned slightly, "I think you have a fever. Were you feelin' bad last night?"

She shook her head again, "No..I felt fine last night..its probably some 24 hour bug..I'm just gonna go in my room and go to sleep."

The elevator stopped and the doors opened, Kevin walked with her to her room. "Kev..what are you doing?"

"I'm going to get you into bed, then I'm going to get you some aspirin and orange juice, maybe some tea."

"You don't have to do that.."

"Well..I'm going to.," He said opening the door and gently pushing her inside, "You do the same thing when one of us is sick."

She groaned, "All I wanna do is sleep Kevin!"

"And you will..go change into something comfortable while I go find some aspirin and juice."

She nodded and went into the bathroom to change into her pajamas.

Kevin went down the hall and found a bottle of Tylenol and some orange juice they had all been drinking off and on. She went back to Madison's room and found her underneath the covers. He found a glass and poured orange juice into it. "Here..drink this and take two of these.," He said putting two pills into her hand.

She nodded, took the Tylenol, and downed the orange juice.

"Thanks Kev."

"No prob. Now, get some sleep."

She smiled ruefully, "Yes..dad."

Kevin laughed, "Smartass."

"I know.."

"I'll see you later."

"Okay..bye."

After Kevin shut the door, Madison snuggled down into the bed and closed her eyes. 'I hate being sick.,' She thought right before falling asleep.
