1.Where are you from, and where does the name Peta come from?
I'm from Australia, but I'm an army brat, so my answer is usually nowhere in particular. I believe I was named after Miss Australia 1970.

2. What's your favorite aspect of being a special agent? Do you like being involved with technological weapons?
Nikita doesn't like any weapons. Her best weapon is her mind. Her worst is her heart.

3.Who do you think would win in a fight: Nikita or Xena?
Definitely Nikita, if she got in the first punch. If she didn't, there's always the .45--and if she doesn't have that, she could remove the stilettos and run like a bat out of hell!

4. What is Roy Dupuis like in real life? How does he kiss?
Roy is very sweet, sensitive, centered, eccentric, very confident, very proud and patriotic. I only know how his alter ego Michael kisses (no tongue). I don't know how Roy kisses--you'll have to ask his girlfriend!

5.Does it freak you out to see all the Websites about you and the show?
No. It's very flattering, and I'm so grateful. It's extremely encouraging as a relative newcomer to have such a great response!

6.What does Nikita expect her future to be like in Section One? Does she think there's a possible relationship for her and Michael?
Nikita's future in the section feels like it's going to be rather grim. But her survival instinct has kicked in tenfold, and she's all about beating them at their own game. As for a relationship, the possibility is there, but it is really slim.

7.What's your all-time favorite episode?
That's hard to answer. I like bits of most of them. Episodes that come to mind are "Brain Wash," "Psychic Pilgrim," "Open Heart," "War" and "New Regime."

8.How did you get started?
According to my mother, I apparently came out of the womb like, "I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. Fellini." Having a gypsy-like childhood, being an army brat, inevitably heads toward a career in entertainment.

9. If you were on a deserted island with a solar-powered TV and VCR, what five movies would you want to have with you?
Days of Heaven, Brazil, home movies, Coal Miner's Daughter and Walkabout.

10.What TV shows do you try not to miss?
NYPD Blue and Jerry Springer.

11.What's your favorite book, and who is your favorite character?
Catcher in the Rye. Holden Caulfield. I like the kind of truth and character that Nietzsche embodied.

12. How do you find time to work out and stay in shape?
My lunch hours with a personal trainer. I improvise within the confines of the set, day to day.

13. What is your favorite cereal?
Weetabix.

14.What's the funniest thing that's happened on the set?
My hairdresser was found bound and gagged in an elevator. They were calling for finals, and all we could hear was a muffled shriek.

15.What style of martial arts did you need to learn for the show?
Tae kwon do.

16.Did you attend college?
No. I dream to in the future. I'm interested in history, anthropology, psychology and English literature.

17.In which direction would you encourage a young actor/actress to go?
Go to college--or read as much as possible.

18.What's your favorite meal?
I love it all. Hate pork and brussel sprouts, though.

19. What would you say is Nikita's motto or philosophy of life?
In the end, deep down inside, she's a true romantic who believes love will conquer all. Do unto others as you would want done to you. Give more, gain more.
