Holiday Decoration Ideas!!!!!

The following are some ideas to treat your gerbils during the holidays!!

New Years!

During New Years streamers are great as long as they are paper! And if you have an aquarium you could also put New Years style wrapping papper taped to the back. Let your gerbils shred muti colored paper to make their bedding feative!

Valentine's Day!

During Valentine's Day you can decorate your gerbils cage with paper hearts! Buy your gerbils a special treat (remember no chocolate!!) Window stickers again!! Red paper this time!

St. Patricks's Day!

During St. Patrick's Day paper four-leaf clover decorations are a must (both paper & window stickers). Green paper for the bedding this time. You can also buy GREEN treats to stay with the St Patty's Day green theme!

Easter!

During Easer try buying a plastic egg and filling it with treats! But the catch is that put it in closed and your gerbils will have a ball trying to open it to get the sweet smelling treats inside!! Window stickers are also very cute on an aquarium! Also wrapping paper again, and yellow, pink, and blue paper this time! No easter grass!

Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day treat your mothers extra special! Give them a irresistable treat and for non-pregnant/nursing mothers give them a longer free run of the room! Treat her to a nice sandbath so she looks great and for non-nursing mother give her a break and babysit for a while for her!

Father's Day!

For Father's Day time to treat your fathers extra special! Give them a irresistable treat and let them go crazy in a longer free run of the room! Treat him to a sandbath aswell, and help out watching the kids to give him a break!

Fourth of July!

For Fourth of July sorry no fireworks for your guys! But you can put red, white, and blue paper in for feastive bedding and put wrapping paper and window stickers on the cage! If you get a free mini flag in the mail like I do tape it (ON THE OUTSIDE!) aswell!

Halloween!

Boo! For Halloween black and orange paper in the bedding of course!! You can also put fake spiders and cobwebs on the cage but only ON THE OUTSIDE! Pumpkins seeds are also a great treat! Just put them on a tray right when you finish carving the pumpkin and cook them til golden brown! No salt. And let them cool before giving them to your little guys!

Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving give your gerbils their own mini-feast! Give them some pumpkin seeds, yogurt, and fresh veggies in addition to their normal diet, and they will love it! Also brown, yellow, and orange paper for the bedding! And of course window stickers and wrapping paper! For the holidays remember less is more, you wouldn't want to have to put your gerbils on a diet plan would you?

Merry Chirstmas!

For Chirstmas of couse get everyone a gift! Wrap it and everything; put it into their cage and they will eventually unwrap it themselves!! I also have a collection of mini stockings for my gerbils! I buy them each a stocking stuffer aswell! It is so cute to hang them on the fireplace with all the big stockings! And remember red and green paper, window stickers, and wrapping paper!!

Ordinary Time!

With all the holidays dont forget plain old ordinary time! During ordinary time you can decorate your gerbil's cages however you want. You can put stickers, window stickers, and even signs if you want! Go crazy have a ball and make you gerbils cage very colorful and creative!

Note: Just like you enjoy a clean house during the holidays, your gerbils will enjoy a clean cage!!!
