My Soul For You			

	Mylene drove towards Basara's house for practice.  They changed the practice to this evening because everyone was busy this morning.
	"I hope I'm not late!" Mylene yelled as she drove down some stairs *Or that BAKA will yell at me* Gubaba bounced on Mylene's shoulder as they went down.
	"Squeak"
	Mylene parked and ran up the stairs to Basara's room.  She practically fell through the door after all those stairs.  "I'm…here…" Mylene panted.
	"Ray and Veffidas won't be coming" Basara said as he stood up.
	"What?" Mylene looked up surprised "Why?"
	"They are planning to stay where they were going this morning" Basara picked up his guitar "But we can still practice".
	"Okay".
	Basara and Mylene got through 'Planet Dance', 'Totsugeki Love Heart' and 'My Friends' before Mylene said, "I need a break.  Do you have anything to drink?"
	"In the fridge"
	Mylene climbed down the ladder and looked in the fridge *Two drinks? Hmm…Maybe Ray usually comes over*  "NE! Do you want a drink? Mylene yelled up to Basara.
	"Sure" Basara answered. Taking the drinks out, Mylene heard Basara playing a soft song.  Mylene went to the ladder, looked at it and thought *I'm not going to let *that* happen again* Mylene placed both drinks in one arm and climbed up the ladder.
	"NE! Here" Mylene started to hand the drink to Basara when she heard thunder.  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh…" Mylene screamed at the sudden sound, and nearly threw the drinks, luckily not spilling them all over Basara.
	"What's wrong?" Basara asked perfectly calm.
	"I…don't…like…thunder…" Mylene said shivering slightly.
	"Scared?" Basara teased.
	"No…it's just that…how am I going to drive home?"
	"Your welcome to stay here." Basara said trying to get Mylene to admit she was scared.
	"Fine" Mylene replied as she sat down on his bed. Basara turned back to his music deciding to try again later.
	"New song?" Mylene asked curiously.
	"I guess."
	"Can I hear what you have?" Mylene asked, ignoring his limited vocabulary when he's writing or playing a song.
	"Sure." Mylene lay on her stomach on his bed and listened as he sang:

Basara looked up to see Mylene looking at him in a shocked but curious way "What?"
"Nothing"
"Well, that's all I have for now" Basara said. 
Mylene yawned "I'm getting tired"
"Get some rest then" Basara said
"I don't want to" Mylene replied stubbornly.  But Basara's soft voice and music slowly made her drowse off.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh…" Mylene woke up with a scream as she heard a loud burst of thunder.
Basara looked up but Mylene was no longer on his bed she was clinging on to him from behind. Basara turned and picked up Mylene and placed her in his lap. "Not scared huh?"
"Fine I'm scared, Okay?! Thunderstorms freak me out, Okay! So just get it over with and laugh at me" Mylene yelled starting to get upset.
"I'm not going to laugh at you" Basara said in a soft soothing voice.
"You're not?" Mylene asked in a surprised tone. Just then another flash of lightning and a clap of thunder boomed through the house. Mylene tightened her grip around Basara's waist.  He then eased his arms around her and held her close to himself.
*I feel so safe and warm in his arms* Mylene thought as another flash of lightning occurred. All of a sudden the lights flickered then went out. "Yikes!!!"
"Are you afraid of the dark too?" Basara said releasing his tight grip around her shoulders to look at her face.
"Well…"
"I don't want to know" with that he picked up his guitar. "Why don't I sing you something to calm you down." He started the song he was working on before, while Mylene snuggled deeper into his embrace.  When Basara had gotten to where he had written before he started to sing new words. When he finished the song he looked down to see a beautiful sleeping Mylene. He gently picked up the sleeping angle and placed her in his bed. She mumbled something Basara leaned closer to her to hear what she was mumbling. It was his name. Basara was shocked when suddenly Mylene reached out in her sleep for him. He lay beside her and took her into his arms. He soon fell asleep with her in his arms.
The next morning Mylene woke to Basara finishing his new song. "You finished it!"
"Yeah, I did it while…" Basara stopped
"While what?"
"While the thunderstorm."
"Oh, I remember"
"You do?" Basara said surprised
"Yeah I fell asleep in your lap" Mylene said quietly 
"Yeah that's right"
"Can I hear the finished song?" Mylene asked curiously.
"Okay" Basara sang the entire song with Mylene paying close attention.
"Umm…Basara just out of curiosity dose that song have any thing to do with last night?"
"Yup"
"Uh… was that song for me?" Asked Mylene, almost hopefully *could it?* Basara didn't answer.  "Basara?"
"The song is for you Mylene!  It will never be for anyone else"
