CAVES

Some 20 miles or so from Combs' Airport, the caves where Jenny Wiley was held captive can be found. It is said that as early as the 1950's, Indian drawings and paintings were still visible inside these caves. I can not say whether traces can be seen today or not, as I did not venture down the hill, across the creek to the caves on this trip. A cool, dark, damp cave is a snake's domain and I sure didn't relish the thoughts of meeting up with one (maybe even more). I will wait until colder weather and then explore the caves.
