The first annual reunion for descendents and family of Thurman K. and Esther Rigsby Adams was held Saturday, June 19, 1999 at Cold Springs United Baptist Church, Flat Gap, KY.
Thurman Adams was born in Johnson County, KY on February 16, 1904 and died March 15, 1989. He was the son of John Elliott and Rachel Anna Gillum Adams. Esther Rigsby Adams was born in Morgan County, KY on February 6, 1914 and died May 5, 1999. She was the daughter of Leander Franklin "Frank" and Sarah Jane Smith Rigsby.
The reunion was organized by Ann Lemaster-Applegate and James Adams, grandchildren of Thurman and Esther Adams. A committee was formed for next year's reunion and it was decided that the reunion would be held the fourth Saturday of June. Ann Lemaster-Applegate and James Adams will keep their positions on the committe as president and vice- president, respectively. Those attending the reunion are as follows:
