MR. PALMORE'S ALL-STARS FOR OCTOBER

During the month of October, ten students were nominated to become members of Mr. Palmore's All-Star Club. Students become members of the club by demonstrating outstanding social skils (helping others or using good manners). Staff members nominate students that they observe using these skills. Once a student has been nominated to join the club, a star is placed on the board outside of the Cafeteria. At the end of each month, all of the stars for that month will come down, and one name will be chosen at random to recieve a special lunch with Mr. Palmore. All-Stars for october were:

Rachel Montfoglio, Eddie Kruetzkamp, Ajae Tyler, Kyle Wiggins, Andrea Egerton, Ashley Fahey, Tony Otten, Megan Feder, Maria Wise, and Jason Pelgen

Andrea Egerton was chosen to receive the special lunch with Mr. Palmore.

DEXTER SMITH SETS SCHOOL RECORD IN KICKBALL

Mr. Herron, Arnett's Gym teacher reports that Dexter Smith had the greatest game of kickball in the history of Arnett Elementary. In one inning, he kicked a grand slam homerun and kicked another homerun in the basketball hoop. If a student kicks a ball in the hoop it counts as three homeruns. No student has kicked a ball in the hoop in over five years. Later in the game, Dexter executed a double play. Congratulations, Dexter, on a GREAT game!
