Jack Henson Batsel was born 14 November 1929 in Greenville KY. When he was dying he asked his daddy, Rufus William Batsel, Jr., for a quarter to buy his mother a dress, and he was given the quarter. Jack died 8 July 1933 in Greenville KY of appendicitis. It is rumored that someone in the family still has the quarter. Jack is buried in Greenville, Kentucky.
