WORLD TITLE

RYAN HALE became the first ever BWF world champion by winning the
inaugral 
Royal Rumble, August 1997.

Ryan lost the title to BRIAN SCHAEFER in a Last Man Standing Match at 
Summerslam 99, June 1999.

DANNY MCLINDON won the title when he won the Royal Rumble at royal
Rumble 
99, August 17, 1999, after Brian was forced to put his title on the
line.

At Badd Blood in January, Ryan defeated Danny to become the first ever
2-time World Heavyweight Champion.



INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE

SEAN THOMPSON became BWF's first ever intercontinental champion by
winning a 
one-night eight man tournament, January 1998.

BRIAN SCHAEFER won the title in another one-night eight man tournament
after 
Thompson retired and the title was declared vacant, King of the Ring, 
November 1998.

Brian lost the title to KEVIN LOWE, December 1998.

Kevin lost the title to DOUG SHELTON, Wrestlemania 2, February 1998.

TAG TEAM TITLES

RYAN HALE and JONATHON GUESS won the titles in a five-team elimination 
match, Summerslam 98, June 1998.  After Guess's retirement, Ryan was
allowed 
to pick his own partner and he chose DOUG SHELTON.

After the team of HALE/SHELTON disbanded, the titles were decalred
vacant 
and were won by RYAN HALE/KATIE DUSING in a triangle match, Royal
Rumble 99, 
August 17, 1999.

EUROPEAN TITLE

DOUG SHELTON became the first ever European champion by winning a 6 man

battle royal, King of the Ring, November 1998.

Doug lost the title to DANNY MCLINDON, Wrestlemanina 2, February 1998.

The European title was unified with the Intercontinental title in
August of 
1999.  It is no longer recognized.

HARD CORE TITLE
At Saturday Night's Main Event in October, Ryan defeated Doug for the
Hardcore Title.

At a house show in November, Hardcore Holly defeated Ryan and Ian in a
three-way dance to become the new BWF Hardcore Champion.

At January's Badd Blood, Ryan defeated Hardcore Holly and Brian in a
three-way dance to become the 3-time Hardcore Champion.

At Wrestlemania III, Brian defeated Ryan to become the new Hardcore
Champion.
