Week of August 7-13, 1999
Electrical, Grading, & Siding

There is still a delay in getting some of the materials! Very frustrating. John has planned out and begun to do the electrical.

On Saturday, Keith helped John do some of the rough grading around the barn. Using the tractor and bucket made the work go fairly quickly. Alexandria and Dylan enjoyed coming over and watching the action. They even got a ride on the tractor at the end of the day.

There has been significant progress on the wiring in the barn. The outlet boxes are all in and wired. The lighting circuit and service panel connection are next in the game plan. There is a hold up on the lighting fixtures because hanging brackets must be located.

John is working around the missing supplies. The mullion kit for joining the two windows on the end of the barn, has been on order since the beginning of July. Hopefully it will arrive before we leave! In an adaptive strategy, John is doing the section above where the kit is needed.

The remaining materials arrived Friday at 6:30PM. Finishing touches for next week!
