Chapter 6

He let go of my hand as we walked into his house. I felt his fingertips brush against my hand and it gave me shivers again. I could feel my face turning red. Inside, there is a young girl sitting in the living room watching tv. We walk into the kitchen and there is a woman (apparently his mother) fixing something, and a baby in a highchair.

"Hey mom, this is Hailey." Taylor says, as his mother turns around. "That's my sister Zoe." He says to me, pointing at the baby.

"Nice to meet you Hailey." His mom says to me.

"Nice to meet you too." I reply, trying to be as polite as possible.

We walk out into the garage and Taylor starts digging through a box. "Ike and Zac and Mac, my brothers, are at the mall or somewhere I think, so you can meet everybody else tomorrow or sometime."

"Hey Tay," his mom opened the door. "If you see Ike tell him to call me, alright?"

He looked up at her and nodded, then went back to digging in the box. "Tay, that's cute. Can I call you that?"

"Sure." He said, and smiled at me. "Oh here you go." He handed me a pair of rollerblades and sat down to put some on.

I sit beside him and start strapping mine on. He knealed in front of me and started helping me with them. "Thanks." I say, and blush a little.

"Sure." He gets up, takes my hands and pulls me up with him. He doesn't let go. We stand, inches away from each other. I can feel his sweet breath on my face. His lips brush against mine...

"Are you going to be home for dinner tonight?" His mom opens the door and asks.

We both quickly jump apart and I, of course, fall to the ground. "Uh, yeah Mom." He says quickly and bends down to me. "Are you okay?"

"I told you I wasn't too good on these things. I'm alright." He helps me up again and we both blush.

"We can go to the park, there's a lot of space there." He says and opens the garage. We skate out and onto the street. I can already tell he's good at this. I'm going to embarass myself so bad.

He gets right infront of me and begins to skate backward, taking my hands. "Tay be careful you're gonna fall!" I yell at him and laugh.

"Hey, I've lived here practically my whole life, I know where I'm going." He glances behind him for a second, and starts going faster.

"Slow down! I'm going to fall on top of you!" He just smiles at me. "When we get there please don't let go of me. I mean, I'm not very good at stopping."

"Okay, don't worry." When we get to the park we skate around for a while, and he is so good at it. "Watch this." He says, spinning on only one.

I clap. "You are so much better than me."

"I'll teach you." He grins.

"What are you doing?" I giggle as he comes toward me fast. Grabbing me around the waist we spin in circles. "Ooooh, I'm gonna be sick..." I can't control my laughter. I love this feeling of his arms wrapped around me. It feels like we're in slow motion as I can begin to feel us losing our balance. "Tay!" I scream, just before we hit the concrete.

"Sorry are you alright?" He lands right over top of me. I only nod. Wiping the hair away from my face with just one finger, he kisses me. Three, slow, gentle kisses. My nervousness fades as he does so. The first one is soft. The second is wet, and I place my hands on his shoulders. The third one lasts the longest. As he pulls away I feel his tongue rub my top lip and get chills all over my body. After starring at each other silently for a minute, we stand up together.

Looking around, there is only a couple kids on the swingset, not paying attention to us anyway. Not that I would have cared if we had an audience. Not after that experience. "Gosh it's hot out here." I break the silence.

"Yeah it is. Wanna go sit under that tree and rest for a while?" He smiles at me and the redness in his cheaks makes me want more of his sweet kisses.

"Okay." He takes my hand as we walk over there.

We sit down beside each other and he starts taking his rollerblades off. "Take yours off, you'll be more comfortable." He says to me. I do so and we lean back against the tree, under the shade. Resting my head on his shoulder, I feel him kiss the top of it.

"Hailey?" I hear Taylor's comforting voice, like a dream. "Hailey I think we've been asleep for a while."

I open my eyes and realize where I am. "Oh." I smile at him and look at my watch. "Oh no. It's four o'clock. I was suppose to be home at three to go with my mom and pick my brother up at the airport. He's coming to stay with us."

"I'm sorry." He stands up and reaches for my hand.

"It's not your fault." I stand up with him. "Do you mind if we go to my house and see if my mom's there?"

"Okay. You wanna just carry these?" He asks, picking up the rollerblades.

"Yeah sure." Damn he is so sexy.

"K, I'll carry yours too." He holds them all in one hand by the strings, and with his other holds my hand. I can't believe I've been spending the day with this perfect guy. Mr. Henderson waves to us as we walk by his house. "He's a nice guy."

"You know him?" Taylor nods his head. "Me too, he was friends with my granddad. He use to always give me a dollar when I saw him when I was little."

He smiled. "Aww, that's nice." We finally get there and walk up to the front door. "I like your house."

"Thanks." I turn the knob. "It's locked, I don't think she's home." Reaching under one of the flower pots I get the key. "You wanna come in for a minute?"

"Sure." We walk inside and stop in the kitchen.

"Can I get you a coke or something?" I ask opening the fridge.

"Water would be good." He says, sitting down in a chair at the table. I get him a glass and we sit and talk a few minutes. "Can I have your number so I can call you tonight?"

"Oh sure," I say, getting up to get a piece of paper. "Here, gimme yours too."

We exchange phone numbers and he stands up. "I better get going, I told my mom I'd be home."

"Want me to walk you half way?" I ask, wishing we could stay together longer.

"No that's okay. You're mom might come home or try to call you or something." Awww man.

"Yeah I guess you're right." I walk him to the door.

"Wait," he says, as I open it. I turn around and he walks up to me. He wraps his arms around my neck and I put mine around his waist. "I had a lot of fun today."

"Me too." He hugs me tight and then we begin to kiss. Even longer this time, it feels like it lasts forever. It was too perfect to describe. Slowly rubbing his fingers through my hair, he stops by erotically licking my lips. "Mmmmm," I can't help but let out.

He steps away from me and puts his rollerblades on. Giving me a quick kiss on the cheak, he start's to skate out. "I'll call you later tonight." He smiles.

"Okay, Bye Taylor." 'There goes my baby' I sing in my head.

"Bye!" He says and waves to me.

I shut the door and fall back against it. "Ooooh yeah!" I scream and hop on the couch. "I am the luckiest person in the whole world."
