A PRAYER FOR ALL
Let us pray:
Dear Father, I woke up this morning, I'm blessed. I'm able to talk, I'm blessed. I'm able to walk, I'm blessed. I know who I am, I'm blessed. I have a job, I'm blessed. I know whose I am, I'm blessed. I'm loved, I'm blessed. I say thank You for giving me all these things for I am truly blessed.
You've given me another day to be better than I was yesterday. You've given me another chance to mend an argument. You've given me another chance to tell someone how much I love them. You've given me another chance to witness to others. You've given me another chance to be a loving Mother, an understanding Father, a caring Sister, an uplifting Brother, a patient Aunt, a trusting Uncle, a generous Grandmother, a playful Grandfather, a sounding board, a friend. Thank You.
You've given me another chance to worship and praise You. You've given me another chance to make things right in my life. You've given me another chance to ask for forgiveness. You've given me another chance to give my life to You. I say thank You. >
Thank You for being with me as I slept last night. Thank You for Your presence I felt when I awakened.
Let this day be a new beginning for me. Let me not waste one minute. Let me use this day wisely and spiritually. Let me take advantage of everything around me. Let me enjoy being alive. Let me enjoy peace of mind. Let me enjoy being a Christian.
Bless those around me in a special way. Give them the desires of their hearts if it is Your Will. Bless those that I love that are far away. Bless those that can't seem to make up their minds. But most of all bless those that are angry at themselves because of the bad decisions and choices they have made along the way. Father I come praying for the sick and the shut in. Send that angel by to help them. Give them the strength to help themselves. Let my light shine that others might see You in me. Let me replace my fear with faith, and go forth confidently. This is my prayer I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Love is the mark of a Christian. How do we measure up? Is there kindness, warm affection, a desire that others have the preferred place, readiness to suffer deprivation or shame in behalf of others, and willingness to forgive regardless of the injury? These are ways Christian love becomes real!
