I am so excited about returning to Georgetown this fall for my senior year! I will be taking some exciting art classes, including Painting, Graphic Design, and 3-D Modeling and Animation. I will also be taking a Survey of French Lit. Since Dr. Robert C. Powers of the University of Louisville Math Department gave me a D in college algebra which I did not deserve, I will also be taking algebra or some substitution for it this fall at Georgetown. I was going to take Japanese, for cultural enrichment, but Dr. Robert C. Powers threw a wrench in that plan, didn't he? I will also be taking an interesting art history course.
My Kappa Delta duties this year include planning all social functions with my dear friend Lee Ann. We are planning to do the fraternity mixers that proved to be so successful when we introduced them to the Georgetown social calendar last spring. Our first two mixers will hopefully be with the Pikes and the KAs. Lee Ann and I also plan to have lots of old fashioned KD parties at the Continental in Lexington, which holds so many good memories for so many Georgetown students and alumni. We are also trying to come up with some creative ideas for the Father/ Daughter luncheon this fall.
