NOT
Going Straight To Paradise
He will be the Guest of the United States of America
FIRST
This outcome I really approve of. Not because
I wish to be merciful, do not approve of the death penalty or have any other qualms, but because instead, I am vindictive and vengeful.
You see this guy truly believes that if he dies for the True Faith he goes straight to Paradise with all sorts of fringe benefits.
the deposition, presented by prosecutors to build their case that Moussaoui was a serious terrorist threat, al-Attas said Moussaoui talked about holy war every day when they roomed together, taught him martial arts and proposed sending him to Pakistan to learn the Islamic militant justification for jihad.
"Your obligation, like any other Muslim, is to be ready for jihad," he quoted Moussaoui as telling him. Al-Attas also said Moussaoui told him:"This is the only way for me to get to paradise."
I feel in making the punishment, not just fit the crime but the criminal.
So in this case execution, would be doing him a favor! Yes I also have no doubts he will be headed for some hotter climate than basking in divine luxury catered to for all time by 72 eternal virgins, but what I believe has no real bearing.
What he believes does.
SO I want him to be pointed at a cell and told,
"Get used to it m'boy, because you will be spending quite a few decades here, no rapid trip to Paradise for you!"
And when his body starts wearing out in 50 or 60 years, I hope our technology has advanced by then that we can keep him corporeal for an indefinite time.
Did I mention I am vindictive and vengeful?
Here is the time line of
Major events in Moussaoui's case
It starts
2001
-Feb. 26-May 29: Moussaoui trains at Norman, Okla., flight school but doesn't get pilot's license.
Aug. 17: Moussaoui arrested on immigration charges
after arousing suspicion at a Minnesota flight school by asking to learn to fly a Boeing 747
and it ends
-April 20: Testimony concludes in the trial.
-April 24: The jury begins deliberations after the prosecution and defense present their closing arguments.
- May 3: A federal jury spared Moussaoui from execution, deciding he will spend the rest of his life in prison
I understand as he was leaving the courtroom he hollered out
""America you lost!" Moussaoui shouted as he left the courtroom after hearing the verdict. He clapped his hands and yelled, "I won!"
"Anti-death penalty activists said the case showed U.S. juries were less willing to impose capital punishment than in the past, even in a case of such wrenching emotion."
Not really at least on my part I want him to suffer for a long time, not meet a quick ending.
Some folks prat about wanting "closure" from the horrors of Sept 11, I prefer a Reckoning
When he gets to where he is going to spend the rest of his life, someone should ask him after the door clanks shut.
"Does this look like winning Punk?"
You know something? To be a Shaheed Martyr and Gazzi (Holy) Warrrior, you have to DIE FIGHTING for
the True Faith, I am not certain waiting around to die of Old Age qualifies. ;-)
Who knows with the advancements in Medical Science, maybe we can keep his body functioning indefinitely.
Trap him forever in corporeal form, never achieving Paradise. I would want him to KNOW this and I would want any other wannabe Martyrs to know it as well.
Here is my wish for a LONG Life for Zacarias Moussaoui.
May he never die.
