Deploy Over The Horizon
That seems to be the Democratic Party's Global Strategy for the War against International Terrorism. Islamic Fascism, Jihadism, or whatever you wish to call it.

These tactics have been vocalized by The Honorable John P. Murtha and I quote from his website.

My plan calls:

To immediately redeploy U.S. troops consistent with the safety of U.S. forces.
To create a quick reaction force in the region.
To create an over- the- horizon presence of Marines.

To diplomatically pursue security and stability in Iraq.

Loose translation:

Cut and run as fast as we can get our troops out without creating a rout and disaster.

Create a quick reaction force over the horizon, somewhere not really stated.

Now Congressman Murtha was asked what he thought was an appropriate over the horizon deployment area.

His idea?

QUESTION: My other question: What do you mean exactly by a quick reaction force in the region?
MURTHA: Well, the Marines in Okinawa -- remember in Somalia, we came back from Somalia and then we went back in. It only took us a couple days to take care of the Iraqi army, and now we're not talking about an army.

What I'm talking about is a terrorist camp that may affect our national security or the security in the region, we can go back in. But not a civil war or something like that. That's up to the Iraqis to settle that.

So I think the Marine force could be in there momentarily, within a couple days, within 48 hours they could be in there. And if the Kuwaitis would agree and they wanted to put a force in Kuwait, that would be a good place to have them; they could go right down the road.

Okinawa, some 4900 nautical miles of flight, if Iran and the People's Republic of China give us permission to overfly their airspace. If not the 6000 nautical miles.

That is the Democratic Party's Grand Strategy?

I had a dream last night if we did pull our troops out and position them in an over the horizon area where they could be redeployed from, it would be nice if it was closer to the theater of operations and somewhere that American troops might be welcomed.

I think a much better location than Okinawa would be Israel

Now that should make politicians like Rep. John Dingell scream like the stuck dhimmis they really are. Why Congressman Dingal stated publicly

"I don't take sides for or against Hezbollah; I don't take sides for or against Israel." Asked, "You're not against Hezbollah?" Dingell answers, "No..."

Take that into consideration, when you cast your votes this Fall, do you really want to be represented by those who don't take sides against International Terrorists?
