Community Service is a very important aspect of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. As stated in our motto "Culture for service and service for humantiy", we are truly dedicated to uplifting and serving our society as a whole. Through the Kappa Iota Chapter, the name of sigma is still rising above all others because of the high ideals, values, and principles that each member exemplifies. The "Mighty KI" as we are called through out the land because our zealous work ethics, are involved in a numerous amount of community service activities. There is at least one activity that occurs once a week. The are a wide variety of service projects that we do. They range from Big Brother Programs to feeding the homeless. Whether or not we are talking to students on campus about sexual awareness and abuse or tutoring underpriveledged kids, we are still marching on to help make the the world a better place. The fraternity's main goal, not just state wide but world wide, is to serve the public, and we will continue to accomplihsh that mission until the end of time.
