Gangrel is the vampire "leader" of a recently formed group known as The Brood. His followers are Edge and Christian.
This new group was formed on October 26 during a Kane vs. Gangrel match. After Kane won, Christian and Gangrel continued the fight which led to Kane throwing around Christian.
Then Edge appeared and began helping his brother by beating on the solitary Kane. After Kane refused to stay down, the unofficial Brood got out of the ring, and made an exit through the crowd.
