This is the MHDA point system. These points count towards Year End Awards (YEAs) and Culmulative Awards (CAs). The point system goes as follows.
1 point for each test a horse enters
1st place = 10 pts
2nd place = 9 pts
3rd place = 8 pts
4th place = 7 pts
5th place = 6 pts
6th place = 5 pts
7th place = 4 pts
8th place = 3 pts
9th place = 2 pts
10th place = 1 pt
Points are doubled for Championship Shows. Instead of getting 1 point per horse, per test, you get 2. Rather than 10 points for 1st place, your horse will receive 20.
YEAs and CAs are listed below. YEAs are awarded according to the highest number of points. CAs are based on a set number of points.
