This is an Eye of Horus amulet. It represents the eye of the much beloved God Horus. See the description of Horus in gallery one, or email me for more information about this,or any other diety or artifact. This amulet is a very nice color, and is made of faience.
It measures about 3/4" in height and length. It can be strung on a necklace easily to be worn, or simply displayed.

These next two pieces are the Djed pillar amulet, and the Heart of Osiris. Both of these very nice necklaces come from the 26th dynasty,(600 B.C). The Djed amulet, left, represents power, and the backbone of Osiris. It was supposed to give strength to the wearer, and courage. The next amulet is called the Heart of Osiris. It represent's Osiris' heart. Osiris was a much beloved God in Ancient Egypt. Both of these are very nice pieces, and make excellent displays for any ancient Egyptian collection, or they can even be worn!
