Mitch's senior picture. 11/2000
This is Mitch and he is now 20. Mitch's birthday is July 18th 1980. He was born with two holes in his heart and had to have open heart surgery when he was two years old. Mitch also has Down Syndrome. It's been a long journey but we've come thru it step by step.
He goes to high school now and is mainstreamed into some regular classes. He also has a part-time job at Hollywood Video. This is Mitch's last year of school so we will be transitioning into the next phase of his life come this summer.
Some of Mitch's favorite things are wrestling, bowling, watching videos, country Music and dancing.
He loves to dance and he and his partner won 3rd place in a dance contest at his school's Valentine Dance this year. He also likes watching "Xena", "Hercules", and "Highlander" on TV. Some of his favorite movies are "Starwars", "Howard the Duck", "Home Alone", and "Scream".
Mitch will be going to his senior prom this April. I'll be adding those pictures when I get them.
"The Rock"
One of Mitch's greatest pleasures is westling. His HERO of the moment is "THE ROCK". The walls of his room are decorated with framed pictures and posters of "The Peoples Champ, The Rock". If you want to talk wreslting Mitch will tell you more then you ever wanted to know about the subject. He's been watching it since he was 3 years old and has memorized more data than can be accessed in a single visit with him. He has lots and lots of videos that he rewatches constantly.
