I am not usually a fan of either Time Travel books (unless it's from the present to the future) or of books about the Highlands or Historicals in general but I have read all of Karen's books and have loved them all.

Gwen Cassidy goes on a vacation to Scotland hoping to find a man. Instead, she finds herself in nicotine withdrawal and on a bus filled with senior citizens, with no prospective man in sight.

While hiking, she falls through a hole into a cave where she lands on the body of a man. As she checks him out, she discovers that he is not dead but just sleeping. When awakened after five hundred years of enchanted slumber, Drustan MacKeltar attempts to convince Gwen that he is truly from the past, but she merely thinks him a little crazy. What happens in the rest of the book is magical, humorous, sensual, and romantic. Don't miss it!!

I look forward to "Dark Highlander" due out in the fall 2002. We'll get more about Gwen and Drustan and hopefully more about Dageus.
