Review:

This is a futuristic romance set in a world where the women have all the power and the men know their place and are expected to stay in it. Jorlan Raynard is not like the other boys on Forus, who dream of fashionable clothes and marriages to beautiful, wealthy, and powerful women. Jorlan loves the freedom his grandmother gives him to develop his mind and body, and he's determined to remain unmarried and to forge his own destiny. But politics soon bind him to Marquelle Green Tamryn, a beautiful, wealthy, and powerful landowner who is, perhaps, the only woman who can appreciate Jorlan's unique gifts. As an archenemy plots Green's destruction, her expectation that she and Jorlan will function as a team wins the young man's heart.

I really didn't like the storline that much, reverse society, but I did enjoy the characters and I just couldn't seem to stop reading this book. Which just proves to me what a fantastic writer Ms. Joy truely is.

EXCELLENT
