Game 1 Conner (12-7) vs. Henry Clay (21-2) (Boys)
Conner coach Jim Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Derek Broyles, 6-4 Jr. Alex Curry, 6-7 Sr. Alex Wagner, 5-11 Jr. Travis Huffman, and 5-11 Sr. Brett Lafollette. Henry Clay coach Kirk Chiles countered with 6-3 Fr. Aaron Boyd, 6-2 Jr. Aaron Dunaway, 6-2 Jr. Aaron Miller, 5-9 Sr. Noade Day, and 5-10 So. Travis Bowman.
Conner led 25-17 at halftime but Henry Clay outscored the Cougars 28-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 63-49 victory. Henry Clay got off to a sluggish start, only shooting 29.2% in the first half and Conner, led by 14 first half points by Derek Broyles, took a lead at intermission. The alarm clock went off for the Blue Devils at halftime and they shot 65.5% from the field in the second half.
Henry Clay shot 49.1% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line, connected on only four of 10 free throws, and pulled down 32 rebounds. Henry Clay scored 23 points off 21 Conner turnovers and held a 31-7 advantage in bench scoring. Conner shot 41.5% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Cougars connected on nine of 11 free throws and grabbed 24 rebounds.
6-0 Sr. Bryan Turnage came off the bench to lead the victors with 20 points and eight rebounds. Aaron Dunaway added 15 points, all in the second half, and 6-3 Fr. Victor Moses chipped in with 11 points. Noade Day tallied only three points but he dished out 11 assists. Conner was led by Derek Broyles with 20 points including six three point baskets. Brett Lafollette added 12 points.

Hopkins County Central coach Shawn Oakley started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Mitchell Faulk, 5-11 Jr. Dee Stafford, 6-10 Jr. Albert Jackson, 5-9 Jr. T. J. Martin, and 5-10 So. Allen Alvarez. Paul Dunbar coach Eddie Oakley countered with 5-10 Sr. Mike Jones, 5-10 Sr. Leonard Epps, 6-1 Sr. Andre Tunstill, 5-9 Sr. Jessie Moton, and 5-10 Fr. Dion Johnson.
Paul Dunbar scored 35 points off 33 Hopkins County Central turnovers in a 67-48 victory. Paul Dunbar shot 42.2% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs connected on six of 12 free throws and pulled down 27 rebounds. Hopkins County Central shot 37.5% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line. The Storm was 13 of 19 from the free throw line, and grabbed 40 rebounds.
Leonard Epps led the victors tonight with 13 points, nine rebounds, and four steals. Dion Johnson added 13 points, dished out seven assists, and recorded five steals. Jessie Moton chipped in with 11 points. 5-8 So. Zach Arnold came off the bench to lead Hopkins County Central with nine points. 6-3 Sr. Will Ainsworth and Albert Jackson added eight points each. Jackson also pulled down 10 rebounds and blocked three shots.

Bryan Station coach Jackie Williams countered with Sr. Amy Taylor, 5-10 Sr. Brittney Clark, 6-2 Jr. Crystal Leach, 5-7 Jr. Bradli Stinson, and 5-6 Jr. Carley Blankenship.
Bryan Station led 43-37 at the end of three quarters and outscored Madison Central 23-15 in the final period to earn a 66-52 victory. Bryan Station shot 43.1% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on 16 of 29 free throws and pulled down 39 rebounds. Madison Central shot 37.7% from the field from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Indians only visited the free throw line nine times, connecting on five shots, and grabbed 36 rebounds.
Bradli Stinson led Bryan Station with 19 points. Carley Blankenship added 17 points including four three point baskets. Brittney Clark added 15 points and nine rebounds. Crystal Leach added six points and pulled down 10 rebounds. 5-6 So. LaKrista Clark came off the bench to add nine points and dish out seven assists. Amara Herald led Madison Central with 16 points including three baskets from beyond the arc. 5-7 Jr. Janna Anderson added 11 points including three three point baskets. Libby Letcher chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds, while Brooke Barnett added nine points.

Bryan Station led Louisville Central 35-32 after three quarters and outscored the Yellowjackets 24-13 in the final period to gain a 59-45 victory. Bryan Station shot 43.8% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 23 Louisville Central turnovers. Louisville Central only shot 29.4% from the field, but connected on 11 of 15 free throws, and grabbed 42 rebounds.
Tino Washington led Bryan Station with 17 points including three three point field goals. 5-11 Sr. Jarod Gay added 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Martin Ashford chipped in with 11 points. Leroy Nobles led Louisville Central with 26 points including four three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds. 6-2 Sr. Jerome Walton added seven points and Darryl Bell chipped in with six points and 10 rebounds.
