Congratulations to Lexington Catholic Coach Brandon Salsman and the rest of the athletic staff for putting together such a first class event. Also, congratulations to Coach Salsman and the Knights on capturing the tourney title over a formidable group of challengers. Several teams in this field are capable of competing for regional titles and a trip to the state tourney. I enjoyed seeing the individual talent on display this week and am confident that many of them will perform well at the college level. I am also confident that several players in this event are destined for stardom at the college level. The stats presented in this write-up were a combination of scorebooks and computer stat crews. Although this is not necessarily official stats, the numbers should be close.
A special thanks to the entire Lexington Catholic athletics department for the hospitality extended me during this event.
