I have attempted to give a brief recap of each game played this weekend. The stats in this report came from the game scoresheets. I apologize in advance for any errors or misspelling of names. This writeup is not meant to be used for official records but for general coverage of this event.
Congratulations to the Moss for their championship run. Also congratulations to Tourney MVP Jacob Hall (Moss). Moss was such a balanced team it was extremely hard to single out one person for MVP.
A special thanks to Eric Armstrong, Ken Farley, Steve Hatton, Marc Hall, and the rest of the Kentucky Basketball Academy staff for the hospitality extended me this weekend. It would be impossible for me to cover these events without the outstanding cooperation and help I get from the staff.
Please feel free to send your comments and questions concerning the tournament, teams, or players to me at prephoops@yahoo.com.
Ron Harrison’s reports on this and other basketball events appear on http://www.kyprephoops.com.
