Madison Southern (21-9) vs. Scott County (24-6)
Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Joey Wallace, 5-9 Sr. Carrington Roberts, 6-3 Sr. Jimmy Freel, 5-8 Jr. A.J. Jeck, and 6-1 Jr. Aaron Ponder. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson, 6-3 Sr. Austin Flannery, 6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton, 6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-3 So. Tamron Manning.
Scott County scored 34 points off 27 Madison Southern turnovers in a 72-38 victory. Scott County shot 44.6% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and held a 26-10 advantage in bench scoring. Madison Southern shot 36.8% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on seven of seven free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Scott County turnovers.
Chad Jackson led Scott County with 13 points and eight rebounds. Ge-Lawn Guyn also scored 13 points. 6-5 Sr. Will Schu and Austin Flannery added eight points each.
Carrington Roberts led Madison Southern with 10 points and seven rebounds. Joey Wallace also recorded 10 points.

Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-3 Jr. Marcellus Barksdale, 6-2 Sr. Justin Daughtery, 6-5 Sr. Miles Potter, 5-11 So. Darius Gibson, and 6-2 Jr. Ryan Fucci.
Tates Creek defeated Woodford County by a score of 41-29. Tates Creek shot 40% from the field including zero of four from the three point line. The Commodores connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 20 Woodford County turnovers. Woodford County shot 26.7% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc. The Yellowjackets connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.
Marcellus Barksdale led Tates Creek with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and five steals. Ryan Fucci added 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.
Patrick White led Woodford County with eight points including two three point baskets. Dominique Johnson and David Greenwell added seven and six points respectively. Jay Johnson pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.

Lafayette (20-6) vs. Madison Central (10-20)
Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Tanner Napier, 6-1 Sr. Michael Walker, 6-7 8th grader Jackson Davis, 6-1 Jr. D’Angelo Yarbrough, and 6-2 Sr. Domonique Hagans. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-4 So. Hunter Allen, 5-10 Fr. George Walker, 6-2 Jr. Nick Ford, 6-0 Jr. Brenton Covington, and 6-0 Fr. Dominique Hawkins.
Lafayette defeated a young, scrappy Madison Central team by a score of 61-47. Madison Central started two freshmen, two juniors, and one soph. Lafayette shot 41.2% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers. Lafayette held a 16-7 advantage in second chance points and an 18-3 advantage in three three points. Madison Central shot 38.6% from the field including one of six fromm beyond the arc. The Indians connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers.
Tanner Napier led Lafayette with 15 points including four three point baskets. Domonique Hagans added 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jackson Davis chipped in with nine points and eight rebounds. D’Angelo Yarbrough also recorded nine points.
Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 23 points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Hawkins was seven of nine from the field including one of one from beyond the arc and eight of 11 from the free throw line. Hunter Allen added eight points and nine rebounds.

Henry Clay (15-16) vs. Franklin County (20-7)
Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Jr. Marquel Johnson, 6-5 Jr. Daniel Kiesling, 5-10 Sr. Marquel Johnson, and 5-8 So. Wes Kimball. Franklin County coach Scott Chalk countered with 5-11 Sr. Lyndon McKee, 6-4 Sr. Vance Hall, 6-5 Sr. Michael samples, 5-11 Sr. Brandon Jennels, and 5-8 Sr. Bryce Burton.
A field goal at the end of the game by Franklin County’s Lyndon McKee was waved off by the officials allowing Henry Clay to escape with a controversial 44-43 victory over Franklin County. Both teams had opportunities to put the game away tonight but it came down to the final second.
The game was tied 17-17 at halftime but Henry Clay took a 32-19 lead in the third quarter before Franklin County rallied to cut the deficit to seven; entering the final quarter. Franklin County rallied to take a 43-39 lead late in the game. Henry Clay’s Brandon nichols hit a three point bomb to cut the deficit to one;43-42. Wes Kimball recorded a steal and a layup with less than 25 seconds remaining on the clock to give Henry Clay a 44-43 lead. After Franklin County called two timeouts a three point attempt was off the mark but Lyndon McKee rebounded and scored but the basket was ruled to come after time expired.
Henry Clay shot 47.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line. The Blue Devils connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 34.8% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.
Trae Stewart led a balanced Henry Clay attack with 10 points and seven rebounds. Wes Kimball added 10 points and five assists. Marquel Johnson chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets. Daniel Kiesling recorded eight points and nine rebounds.
Vance Hall led Franklin county with 27 points including nine of 10 free throws, and pulled down eight rebounds. Michael Samples added 10 points.

Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson, 6-3 Sr. Austin Flannery, 6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton, 6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-3 So. Tamron Manning.
Scott County defeated Tates Creek by a score of 69-58. Scott county shot 57.4% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 19 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 46.7% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc. The Commodores connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.
Chad Jackson led Scott County with 24 points and five steals. Jackson was nine of 11 from the field and six of 11 from the free throw line. Ge-Lawn Guyn added 14 points and five rebounds.
Marcellus Barksdale led Tates Creek with 19 points and nine rebounds. Ryan Fucci added 15 points.

The Generals connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 51.2% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.
Domonique Hagans led Lafayette with 20 points and eight rebounds. Michael Walker and Jackson Davis added 10 points each.
Wes Kimball led Henry Clay with 19 points including three three point baskets. Daniel Kiesling added 10 points and six rebounds.

Lafayette (22-6) vs. Scott County (26-6) (Championship)
Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Tanner Napier, 6-1 Sr. Michael Walker, 6-7 8th grader Jackson Davis, 6-1 Jr. D’Angelo Yarbrough, and 6-2 Sr. Domonique Hagans. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson, 6-3 Sr. Austin Flannery, 6-8 Sr. Dakotah Euton, 6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-3 So. Tamron Manning.
Scott County jumped out to a 21-6 first quarter lead and played well the entire game in a76-50 victory over a good Lafayette team. Scott County’s defense was impressive tonight as they scored 29 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers and recorded 14 steals and seven blocked shots.
Scott County shot 49.2% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 13 of 29 free throw and pulled down 39 rebounds. Lafayette shot 36.5% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Scott County turnovers.
Ge-Lawn Guyn led a balanced Scott County attack with 18 points, four assists, and four blocked shots. Dakotah Euton added 16 points and 12 rebounds. Chad Jackson chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds. Austin Flannery also recorded 10 points. Tamron Manning added nine points, six rebounds, and six steals. 6-4 Jr. Tanner Shotwell also recorded nine points.
Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 16 points and five rebounds. Michael Walker added 11 points including two three point baskets. Domonique Hagans chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds. 5-11 Sr. John Burton recorded nine points on three three point baskets.
