Henry Clay (20-10) vs. Tates Creek (23-4)
Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-4 Fr. Jordan Green, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 5-8 Jr. Wes Kimball. Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-4 Sr. Marcellus Barksdale, 5-11 Sr. Kendale Mack, 6-2 Sr. Todd Bradley, 6-0 Jr. Darius Gibson, and 6-2 Sr. Ryan Fucci.
Tates Creek raced out to a 26-10 halftime lead on their way to a 63-40 victory over Henry Clay. Henry Clay didn’t have much of a chance for a comeback in the second half as Tates Creek shot a blistering 70.6% from the field after intermission. Tates Creek shot 55.6% from the field including three of five from the three point line. The Commodores connected on 20 of 35 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 35.6% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 Tates creek turnovers.
Ryan Fucci led Tates Creek with 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Marcellus Barksdale added 15 points and 11 rebounds. Kendale Mack chipped in with 10 points.
Wes Kimball led Henry Clay with nine points. 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling added eight points. 6-5 Fr. Trey Grundy chipped in with seven points.

Franklin County (13-14) vs. Madison Central (20-9)
Franklin County coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Eric Meyer, 6-3 Sr. Will Bell, 6-5 Jr. Garrett Hamilton, 5-10 So. Casey Tabor, and 5-10 So. Ryan Timmons. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.
Madison Central led 59-42 early in the final quarter but had to withstand a furious Franklin County rally to earn a 73-72 victory. Franklin County took a 72-71 lead with 35 seconds remaining on the clock but Madison Central’s Dominique Hawkins hit two free throws with 23 seconds remaining on the clock to score what proved to be the winning points. Franklin County missed on two late shots to claim a victory. This game proved to be a real foulfest as Franklin County was whistled for 29 fouls and Madison Central was called for 19 fouls. Franklin County had one starter (Will Bell) foul out and the other four starters finished with four fouls each. Hunter Allen fouled out for Madison Central. Franklin County attempted 23 free throws while Madison Central visited the charity stripe 40 times.
Madison Central shot 40% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 27 of 40 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 54.2% from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 21 Madison Central turnovers.
Hunter Allen led Madison Central with 15 points and six rebounds. 6-0 So. Kenjah Bosley added 13 points including three three point baskets. John O’Bryan chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets. Nick Ford recorded nine points and 10 rebounds.
Garrett Hamilton led Franklin County with 18 points and eight rebounds. Ryan Timmons added 17 points. Timmons was six of eight from the field and five of six from the free throw line. Eric Meyer recorded 12 points on four three point baskets. Casey Tabor also recorded 12 points.

Madison Southern (13-15) vs. Woodford County (19-9)
Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Aaron Ponder, 6-2 Jr. Brandon McGuire, 6-2 So. Spencer Stone, 5-9 Sr. AJ Jeck, and 5-11 Jr. Chris Roberts. Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-4 Jr. David Greenwell, 6-1 Jr. Rodney Gross, 6-7 Jr. Jay Johnson, 5-3 Jr. Aaron Stover, and 5-11 Jr. William Starcher.
Woodford County defeated Madison Southern by a score of 56-50. Madison Southern took a 32-31 lead in the third quarter but Woodford County rallied to actually lead 45-35 in the final quarter until Madison Southern cut the margin to four; 54-50 late in the game.
Woodford County shot 56.8% from the field including three of 13 from the three point line. The Yellowjackets connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off seven Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 34.6% from the field including six of 24 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on eight of eight free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Woodford County turnovers.
Jay Johnson led Woodford county with 20 points; 15 coming in the second half. Johnson pulled down seven rebounds and blocked three shots. David Greenwell added 17 points and six rebounds. 6-2 So. Landen Young recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Brandon McGuire led Madison Southern with 18 points including three three point baskets. Aaron Ponder added 13 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Chris Roberts chipped in with 10 points, four assists, and three steals.

Lexington Catholic (23-7) vs. Scott County (23-5)
Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Taylor Martin, 6-4 Sr. Scott Schuette, 6-5 Jr. Craig Floyd, 5-10 Jr. Brian Woomer, and 6-0 Sr. Seth Beckham. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Jr. Tamron Manning, 6-2 Jr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-4 Sr. Tanner Shotwell, 5-10 So. Quinn Richardson, and 6-1 Jr. Josh Harris.
Lexington Catholic raced out to a 31-14 lead in the second quarter and held off a late Scott County rally to earn a 70-60 victory. Seth Beckham was unstoppable early as he scored 14 points to lead Lexington Catholic to a 24-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. Lexington Catholic shot a sizzling 63.2% from the field tonight and Scott county was plagued with foul woes as three starters (Tanner Shotwell, Tamron Manning, and Quinn Richardson fouled out. Scott County could not find the range from the field tonight as they shot only 32.8% and even missed some dunk attempts.

The Knights connected on 20 of 35 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Scott county turnovers. Scott County shot 32.8% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 25 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Seth Beckham led Lexington Catholic with 22 points and six rebounds. Beckham was eight of eight from the field and six of nine from the free throw line. Scott Schuette added 21 points and four rebounds. Taylor Martin recorded 20 points and 12 rebounds. Beckham, Schuette, and Martin combined for 22-28 from the field. Brian Woomer chipped in with two points, five rebounds, eight assists, and six steals.
Isaiah Ivey led Scott County with 21 points including two three point baskets. Tanner Shotwell added 15 points and six rebounds. 6-0 Sr. Trey Reliford chipped in with 10 points. Tamron Manning recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, and seven steals.

Madison Central (21-9) vs. Tates Creek (24-4) (Semifinal)
Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins. Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-4 Sr. Marcellus Barksdale, 5-11 Sr. Kendale Mack, 6-2 Sr. Todd Bradley, 6-0 Jr. Darius Gibson, and 6-2 Sr. Ryan Fucci.
Brenton Covington hit a shot that was ruled a three pointer with 7.8 seconds remaining on the clock to give Madison Central a 42-41 victory over Tates Creek. There was some question where the shot came from beyond the three point line but the referees ruled it a “three”. Tates Creek missed a couple of hurried attempts for a game winner as the clock wound down. Coach Feldhaus effectively slowed down Tates Creek’s offense today with a triangle-and-two defense.
Madison Central shot 32.4% from the field including three of six from the three point line. The Indians connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 30.8% from the field including one of 11 from beyond the arc. The Commodores connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 10 Madison Central turnovers.
Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 12 points and five rebounds. Brenton Covington added nine points including two three point baskets.
Kendale Mack led Tates Creek with 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Ryan Fucci added nine points and seven rebounds. Darius Gibson chipped in with seven points and four rebounds. Marcellus Barksdale recorded six points and 11 rebounds.

Lexington Catholic defeated Woodford County tonight by a score of 71-57. Lexington Catholic led 40-20 at halftime but Woodford County scrapped back and cut the deficit to 10 points; 67-57 in the final quarter. Lexington Catholic shot 47.3% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Woodford County turnovers. Woodford County shot 34.5% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc. The Yellowjackets connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Scott Schuette led Lexington Catholic with 25 points including five three point baskets, and pulled down seven rebounds. Taylor Martin added 17 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Craig Floyd recorded 10 points and eight rebounds. Seth Beckham also reached double figures with 10 points.
Jay Johnson led Woodford County with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocked shots. David Greenwell added 14 points including two three point baskets. Rodney Gross chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Lexington Catholic (25-7) vs. Madison Central (22-9) (Championship)

Lexington Catholic led 30-22 at halftime on their way to a 59-43 victory over Madison Central. Lexington Catholic scored 21 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers. Lexington Catholic attempted 19 more shots (52-33) from the field than Madison Central. The game was delayed 20-25 minutes in the first quarter due to a bizarre incident. The Madison Central student section threw baby powder into the air as the game started and unfortunately instead of settling harmlessly into the stands the powder cloud drifted onto the floor making the surface slippery and potentially dangerous. The referees made the correct call stopping the game at the 2:47 mark in the first quarter and the floor was cleaned before action resumed.
Lexington Catholic shot 46.2% from the field including four of 22 from the three point line. The Knights connected on seven of 11 free throws and pulled down 28 rebounds. Madison Central shot 45.5% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored nine points off seven Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Scott Schuette led Lexington Catholic with 20 points despite setting out the second quarter due to two early fouls. Seth Beckham added 16 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Taylor Martin recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 12 points. Brenton Covington added 11 points.
