Moore (7-6) vs. Holy Cross (Louisville) (10-4)
Moore coach David Meadows started the following lineup: 5-7 So. Jordann Horsman, 5-5 Sr. Jessica Black, 5-9 Fr. Dayshea White. 5-2 So. Ashley Adkins, and 5-2 So. Amber Johnson. Holy Cross coach Fred Copass countered with 5-9 So. Sydney Morabito, 5-8 Jr. Mya Hardin, 5-11 Jr. Julie Skaggs, 5-3 So. Morgan Wimberg, and 5-6 Jr. Kim Mingus.
Holy Cross outscored Moore 15-0 in the third quarter on their way to a 42-34 victory. Moore led 22-20 at halftime but was outscored 22-12 in the second half. Moore shot 14.3% from the field in the second half.
Holy Cross shot 33.3% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Cougars connected on two of nine free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Moore turnovers. Moore shot 19.3% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc. The Mustangs connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Holy Cross turnovers.
5-10 Fr. Josie Hockman led Holy Cross with 10 points and seven rebounds. Mya Hardin added eight points and nine rebounds. Sydney Morabito also scored eight points and pulled down seven rebounds. Julie Skaggs pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
5-4 Jr. Danielle Wilson led Moore with 12 points and eight rebounds. Jordann Horsman added 10 points including two three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.

Southern coach Kevin Kennedy countered with 5-8 Fr. Jamiya Young, 5-7 Sr. Shavonne Jackson, 5-7 Sr. Keona Daniel, 5-5 Sr. Linda Keopaseuth, and 5-5 Jr. Destiny Anthony.
Southern outscored Shawnee 28-1 in the second quarter in a 67-35 victory. Shawnee was only three of 24 (12,5%) from the field in the first half and was guilty of 29 turnovers for the game.
Southern shot 36.5% from the field including six of 26 from the three point line. The Lady Trojans connected on seven of 20 free throws, pulled down 52 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 29 Shawnee turnovers. Shawnee shot 28.3% from the field including zero of nine from beyond the arc. The Golden Eagles connected on five of 21 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored six points off 16 Southern turnovers.
Shavonne Jackson led Southern with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and five steals. Jamiya Young added 18 points including three three point baskets. Young also recorded six rebounds, five blocked shots, and eight steals. 5-9 Fr. Mikayla Hilliard recorded six points and nine rebounds.
Tearra Banks led Shawnee with 22 points and 22 rebounds. Banks had 10 offensive rebounds and 12 defensive rebounds. Ortasia Butler added eight points and seven rebounds.

Central came from behind to defeat CAL by a score of 45-44. CAL led 44-41 with less than a minute on the clock but Central scored on a putback by Nikcoa Jackson with 34 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to one; 44-43. Jerea Brice scored on a putback with four seconds remaining on the clock to give Central the 45-44 victory.
Central shot 35.1% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Jackets connected on one of five from the free throw line, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored nine points off 19 CAL turnovers. CAL shot 33.3% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Centurions connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 26 Central turnovers.
Brianna Averette led Central with 17 points including three three point baskets. Averette also pulled down six rebounds. Jerea Brice added 11 points and 12 rebounds.
China Dow led CAL with 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals. 5-7 So. Kate Joss added 14 points including two three point baskets.

Assumption hit their free throws down the stretch in overtime to defeat Bullitt East 54-53. The third quarter proved to be costly for Bullitt East as they were outscored 10-2. Assumption shot 48.7% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line. The Rockets connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored seven points off six Bullitt East turnovers. Bullitt East shot 36.8% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Chargers connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Assumption turnovers.
Maggie Hartlage led a balanced scoring attack with 12 points including two three point baskets. Becca Durbin added 11 points including three three point baskets. Dee Dee Sliter also recorded 11 points. 5-11 So. Kelsey Kaiser recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
Lindey Young led Bullitt East with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Nikole Isabel added 12 points including three three point baskets. Meredith Polson also scored 12 points.

North Hardin led 29-26 at halftime but Ballard rallied for a 52-41 victory. North Hardin only scored 12 points in the second half and shot only 19% from the field after intermission.
Ballard shot 39.3% from the field including one of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Bruins connected on seven of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 30 North Hardin turnovers. North Hardin shot 27% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Trojans connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Ballard turnovers.
6-2 Sr. Ciera Woods led Ballard with 12 points and five rebounds. Melena Shanklin added 11 points. Jaylan Bodiford chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Chanel Roberts led North Hardin with 17 points and seven rebounds. Kierra Jones added seven points and Brianna Woodson recorded six points, eight rebounds, and four steals.

Butler raced out to a 25-9 first quarter and shot a sizzling 66.7% (12-18) from the three point line in a 79-41 victory over Franklin County. Butler shot 53.3% from the field including 12 of 18 from the three point line. The Bearettes connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 32.5% from the field including zero of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Flyers connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Butler turnovers.
Megan Cureton led Butler with 18 points including four three point baskets. Cureton was seven of eight from the field including four of four from the three point line. 5-2 Jr. Cora Moore also recorded 18 points including four three point baskets. Heather Wheat and Aareon Smith added 13 and 10 points respectively.
Ashli Mayes led Franklin County with 12 points and four rebounds. Lacinda Hack added eight points.

Mercy Academy took a 42-24 halftime lead on their way to a 77-44 victory over Harvest Prep. Mercy shot 47.3% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 19 of 21 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 23 Harvest Prep turnovers. Harvest Prep shot 27.4% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Warriors connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Mercy turnovers.
Whitney Harlage led Mercy with 18 points including two three point baskets. Juliann Miller added 15 points including two three point baskets. Lauren Faris recorded nine points, seven rebounds, six assists, and six steals. Courtney Roush chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.
Chelsea McKnight led Harvest Prep with 12 points including two three point baskets and recorded eight steals. Shicole Watts added 10 points and six rebounds. Jarel Francis pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
