North Hardin coach Chris Corder started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Chanel Roberts, 5-6 Sr. Brianna Woodson, 5-8 So. Morgan Barrick, 5-2 So. Domineque Taft, and 5-4 So. Kiera Jones. Elizabethtown coach Tim Mudd countered with 6-0 8th grader Erin Boley, 5-10 Sr. Darian Ditto, 6-1 Fr. Reaunna Cleaver, 5-7 Jr. Anna Bowling, and 5-11 Sr. Kaylyn Cecil.
Elizabethtown defeated North Hardin by a score of 72-54 for the district championship and accomplished the difficult task of defeating a good team three times in one season. North Hardin led 17-15 after the first quarter but Elizabethtown rallied to lead 34-29 at halftime and extended the margin in the second half. North Hardin went cold from the field in the second half only shooting 24.1% from the field including 1of 12 from the three point line after the intermission.
Elizabethtown shot a sizzling 67.6% from the field including one of two from the free throw line. The Lady Panthers connected on 21 of 28 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 North Hardin turnovers. North Hardin shot 35.3% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Trojans connected on 16 of 29 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Elizabethtown turnovers.
Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 18 points and seven rebounds. Boley was seven of 11 from the field and four of four from the free throw line. Anna Bowling added 12 points and Kaylyn Cecil chipped in with 11 points. Darian Ditto and 5-8 Fr. Livie Bowling recorded eight points each and Reaunna Cleaver added seven points and seven rebounds.
Chanel Roberts led North Hardin with 17 points and eight rebounds. 5-3 8th grader Tamiah Stanford added 11 points. Brianna Woodson and Kiera Jones each scored eight points.
