Randy Ward Game Director and his staff does an excellent job with this two day event. The festivities starts with the SlamJamFestival “Night of Stars” competitions which consists of 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 3-point shooting, and slam dunk.
Girls – The overall champion in the 3-point shootout was Nichole Bell (Ohio) over Katelyn Smith (Kentucky). The 1 on 1 championship featured Allison Mitchell defeating Chloe Pavlech for the Ohio championship and Micah Jones defeating LeAsia Wright for the Kentucky championship. Mitchell defeated Jones for the overall championship. The 3 on 3 championship featured the Kentucky team of Kara Wright, Jasmine Whitfield, and Lauren Bodine defeating the Ohio team of Alexis Newbolt, Kelsey Funderburgh, and Morgan Neighbors.
Boys – The overall champion in the 3-point shootout was Reggie McAdams (Ohio) over Charles Foster (Kentucky). The 1 on 1 championship featured Jagos Lasic defeating Jeril Taylor for the Kentucky championship and Dion McKinley defeating D.J. Blanks for the Ohio championship. McKinley defeated Lasic for the overall championship. The 3 on 3 championship featured the Kentucky team of Max Clemons, Jeril Taylor, and Charles Foster defeating the Ohio team of Austin McMasters, Caris Levert, and Malik London. Malik London (Ohio) defeated Jaysean Paige (Kentucky) for the slam dunk title.

Kentucky defeated Ohio by a score of 71-67. Jasmine Whitfield (MVP) and Kara Wright led the victors with 13 and 10 points respectively. Catie Craft was named MVP for the Ohio team and scored 10 points.

Ohio defeated Kentucky by a score of 116-103. Ohio game MVP Terry Rozier led Ohio with 21 points. Geovanie McKnight, Myles Hamilton, and Reggie McAdams added 17, 12, and 12 points respectively. Kentucky game MVP Nathan Dieudonne led his team with 26 points. Jaysean Paige added 12 points.
