Conclusion
Corbin went 7-0 this weekend to keep their record perfect at 31-0. Coach Jimmy Hendrickson’s squad needed a last second shot to defeat JCTMS 43-42 in the Elite Eight. Corbin then beat North Laurel 40-36 in the semifinal game. The Redhounds trailed Lebanon 17-10 in the first half of the championship game but rallied behind Cameron Maguet’s 19 points to earn a 52-47 victory and the championship. The score was tied 32-32 after three quarters but Maguet and Noah Taylor took over in the final quarter. Corbin was led by Maguet, Taylor, and Lucas Henegar with 19, 12, and 11 points respectively.
