Indiana coach Eric Thornton started the following lineup: 5-11 Destiny Washington, 5-10 Kindell Fincher, 6-2 Danielle Cuttino, 5-5 Whitney Jennings, and 5-6 Ana Owens.  Kentucky coach Jennifer Parsons countered with 6-1 Ivy Brown, 5-10 Javonna Layfield, 6-3 Brooke Todd, 5-10 Danielle Lawrence, and 6-0 Makenzie Cann.

 

Indiana unleashed a three point barrage (10 of 14) from beyond the arc to defeat Kentucky by a score of 83-70.  Indians shot 48.1% from the field including 10 of 14 from beyond the three point line.  They connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 31.1% from the field including four of 25 from beyond the arc.  Kentucky attempted 26 more shots (80-54) from the field than Indiana.  They connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 29 Indiana turnovers.

 

Ana Owens led the victors with 26 points including three three point baskets.  Whitney Jennings added 21 points including three three point baskets.  Kindell Fincher chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds.  Destiny Washington recorded nine points, five rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Danielle Cuttino pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Javonna Layfield led Kentucky with 18 points and six rebounds.  Danielle Lawrence and Eriel McKee added 13 and 12 points respectively.  Ivy Brown recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.

Indiana coach David Benter started the following lineup: 6-6 Zach McRoberts, 6-6 Trevon Bluiett, 6-8 Tyler Wideman, 6-3 James Blackmon Jr., and 6-4 Bryant McIntosh.  Kentucky coach Chris O’Hearn countered with 6-7 Justin Johnson, 6-8 Jackson Davis, 6-7 Kelan Martin, 6-1 Christen Cunningham, and 6-2 Quentin Snider.

 

James Blackmon Jr. scored 41 points to lead Indiana to a 104-94 victory over Kentucky who was led by Quentin Snider with 37 points.  There were 10 ties and 23 lead changes in this game.  Indiana shot 46.2% from the field including 11 of 29 from the three point line.  They connected on 21 of 27 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 16 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 52.3% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored six points off seven Indiana turnovers.

 

James Blackmon Jr. led Indiana with 41 points including four three point baskets and 11 of 13 free throws.  Trevon Bluiett added 18 points and eight rebounds.  Bryant McIntosh and Zach McRoberts chipped in with 13 and 11 points respectively.  Tyler Wideman recorded eight points and nine rebounds.

 

Quentin Snider led Kentucky with 37 points including six three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Christen Cunningham added 20 points.  Kelan Martin recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Indiana completed the sweep with a convincing 83-56 victory over a cold-shooting Kentucky squad.  Indiana shot 43.5% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line.  They connected on 21 of 29 free throws and pulled down 51 rebounds.  Kentucky shot 22.2% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 19 of 30 free throws and pulled down 50 rebounds.

 

Whitney Jennings and Sydney Buck led Indiana with 14 points each.  Buck recorded four three point baskets.  Ana Owens added 10 points and dished out seven assists.  Destiny Washington and Danielle Cuttino pulled down eight rebounds each.

 

Ivy Brown led Kentucky with 11 points and seven rebounds.  Eriel McKee added 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Javonna Layfield pulled down nine rebounds.  Makenzie Cann added nine points on three three point baskets.

Indiana again had too much firepower and completed the sweep over their Kentucky counterparts tonight.  Indiana shot 54.8% from the field including 12 of 27 from the three point line.  They were seven of 18 from the free throw line and pulled down 50 rebounds.  Kentucky shot 42.5% from the field including nine of 18 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 16 of 22 free throws and pulled down 49 rebounds.

 

Trevon Bluiett led Indiana with 32 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  James Blackmon Jr. added 23 points including five three point baskets and eight assists.  Tyler Wideman recorded 15 points and 18 rebounds.  Jeremie Tyler also scored 15 points.  DJ McCall chipped in with 10 points.

 

Quentin Snider led Kentucky with 27 points including four three point baskets and nine of nine free throws.  Christen Cunningham added 19 points.  Kelan Martin chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds and Justin Johnson recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.
