The tournament format sends the top teams in each pool to the Champions Bracket and the remainder of the teams to the Gold Bracket. There were nineteen teams in this tournament placed into six pools as follows: Pool A: Elkhorn, LCA, and Science Hill. Pool B: Old Kentucky Home, RW Combs, Southern Pulaski, and Paris. Pool C: Rockcastle County, Clay County, and Camp bell. Pool D: Bourbon County, Northern Pulaski, and West Jessamine. Pool E: Benton, Wayne County, and JCTMS, and Pool F: Campbellsville, Lincoln County, and Whitley County.
