The tournament format sends the top teams in each pool to the Championship Bracket and the remainder of the teams to the Gold Bracket. There were twenty nine teams in this tournament placed into eight pools as follows: pool A: Sebastian, Eastside, and Campbellsville. Pool B: Northern Pulaski, LTMS, CAL, and Conner. Pool C: Middlesboro, Southern Pulaski, Shelby County West, and Mt. Washington. Pool D: Elkhorn, Crosby, Spencer County, and Campbell. Pool F: Lincoln County, Bourbon County, Williamsburg, and Dorton. Pool G: Scott County, Russell County, Clay County, and East Oldham. Pool H: Casey County, Zoneton, and Johnson County and Pool I: Shelby Valley, Noe, and West Carter.
